Finally done! 
These two characters belong to *swordclaw42, and her only!
The title and picture is based on this song: [link]
"Fire and Ice" by Within Temptation.
Rinny mentioned that the song reminded her of her two characters, Kovaan and Xaena, and this idea popped right into my head.
This is the most epic kiss I ever drew!
I had to change it a lot so Xaena wasn't going for Kovaan's nose!
I hope you like it! 
A Few Things...
Their skin changes color because they are kinda (taken over by) their powers. But their skin is their "natural" colors by their faces because their love for each other keeps them "human" and in "control"...in the picture, at least!
The shading/lighting is off because they each are "ruled" by their individual light sources. Sorry if it looks too weird!!

We're best friends, but we haven't even known each other for as long as other best friends - we only met in 7th grade, when we were 12. So..only 5 years! But we're still best friends! I think that this picture goes really well with the song.
I love the symbolism in Within Temptation's music videos.
"Fire and Ice" tells the story of an angel who fell in love with a dark angel. But because they were natural enemies, they could never be together. So the angel abandoned her duties and had her wings cut off, so she could be with him.
...or something like that.
PS: In the beginning of the video, the angel is shown wearing medieval armor. This is because, before the Renaissance, angels were portrayed as knights, not defenseless little cherubs.
